  • Spring 17:  Brazilian Embroidery

    The ancient craft of three dimensional embroidery, for beginners or the more experienced.  A variety of stitches to create amazing, beautiful designs will be taught. Students should bring a 5” embroidery hoop and scissors.

    Time: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

    Fee: $45.00.   $50 to be paid to instructor (Beginners only).

  • Spring 17:  Quilting Project Time

    This is a self directed “project time” time for beginner to intermediate quilters. Bring a new or existing project that you would like to work on.  Facilitator provides coaching and support for all levels of quilting experience. Iron and ironing board supplied by Craft Centre.   Fee covers 8 weeks. $10 drop-in fee.

    Time: 1 pm to 4 pm

  • Spring 17:  Fancy Quilted Tote Workshop

    Some quilting experience required. Bring your sewing machine, common quilting notions/tools,  and a smile.  Lunch provided!  Registrants will be given a list of material/supplies to purchase; material must be cut as directed prior to the workshop.

    Time: 10 AM to 5 PM

    Fee: $60.00.   Some extra supply costs.

  • Spring 17:  Learn to Knit

    This is a beginner course in which to learn basic techniques and undertake your very first knitting project – a scarf.  Bring to class:  1 – 2 balls of worsted weight yarn, two 4.5 – 5 mm knitting needles, a darning needle and a pair of scissors.

    Saturdays, March 11 thru March 18.

    Time: 1 pm to 3 pm

    Fee: $30.00.

  • Sprig 17:  Needle Felting Figurines

    Learn to needle felt scraps of wool into a figurine of any creature or object you like, you can even make them pose-able by putting pipe cleaners inside. Wool figurines are light-weight and virtually impossible to break so they can be cherished for years!  Fee includes $15 for supplies.
