  • Winter 18 - Quilting: Project Time
    This is a self-directed 'Project Time' for all levels of quilting experience. Bring a new or existing project and the facilitator will provide coaching and support towards the completion of your project. The Craft Centre provides irons and ironing boards. You bring your sewing machine and all supplies for your project. Facilitator: Gloria Bolivar Date: Wednesdays: February 7, 2018 until March 28, 2018 Time: 1 pm – 4 pm Fee: $75
  • Winter 18 - Hardanger
    A traditional Scandinavian embroidery using counted thread and drawn thread techniques. Beginners will learn basic stitches. More advanced participants will work on their own projects, which will challenge their skills. Notion and materials for the course are purchased from the instructor. ﷯Instructor: Arlie Franklin Date: Mondays: February 6 - March 26, 2018 TIime: 1 pm – 4 pm Fee: $45 (does not include supplies, which are purchased from instructor; beginner kit $15)
  • Winter 18 - Brazilian Embroidery

    This ancient craft of three-dimensional embroidery is offered for all levels of experience.  During the interactive sessions, a variety if stitches will be taught to create beautiful designs.  Students should bring a 5" embroidery hoop and scissors.
