This ancient craft of three-dimensional embroidery is offered for all levels of experience. During the interactive sessions, a variety if stitches will be taught to create beautiful designs. Students should bring a 5" embroidery hoop and scissors.

FRESH WHOVILLE TREE
HONING YOUR DRAWING SKILLS
For beginners or those wishing to practice drawing in a relaxed setting, where you can pick up new and satisfying skills. For 10, weeks work on all aspects of drawing with graphite (pencil). POTTERY STUDIO TIME
A great opportunity to improve on your craft, share with fellow artists, and use our equipment. For all those with pottery experience or who have taken previous WAACC pottery courses, studio drop in times are available quarterly beginning with Jan. 1-Mar. 31. The studio is open as listed, as well as 2-3 other weekly scheduled times —Studio calendar will be available online or at registration. Participants will be expected to assist with tasks associated with running the studio. Please try to attend orientation on Jan.16 10-11 am.

BEGINNERS' POTTERY - WHEEL
Discover pottery. Learn the basics of working with clay and using a potter’s wheel. In this 8 week course, learn all the pottery process in creating, glazing and firing clay and take home some finished projects. Clay and tools are included. Further clay can be purchased from the instructor.

This class will introduce beginners to the spectacular world of glass: its colors and textures. Learn to create a 15x40 piece using the copper foil method. The experienced can expand their skills and take on more complicated projects. Topics include: choosing glass, patterns, scoring, breaking, grinding, foiling and soldering. WINTER PAINT DAYS - (Kids)
Think "paint night" but cute, and small, for kids. For 3 years, Margot has instructed Sip of Art for adults & kids alike. For 6 weeks, in one sitting, your child will put together a fun image, while learning basics ie: colour theory, use and care for equipment, and tips on painting with accuracy. All supplies included. Bring your favorite summer planter that still has soil and a pair of garden shears/pruners. Add a variety of fresh evergreens, branches, bows, artificial berries and other fun winter accents to make a beautiful decor statement for your front entryway. PAVERPOL WINE BOTTLE ANGEL
This class gives you the opportunity to make your own stunning, art from Paverpol (non-tox. ic textile hardener). After constructing the basic form, bring it to life with acrylic paints! Bring: 1 roll of tin foil, an apron and a bagged lunch. – Other supplies will be waiting for you.
